What is FemiLift treatment?
FemiLift treatment is a non-surgical procedure that is used to repair damage to the vaginal tissue, pelvic floor and vaginal walls. The FemiLift laser treatment is able to improve multiple feminine health issues including dryness, painful intercourse, laxity loss and diminished sensation due to childbirth and ageing. The procedure is minimally invasive, which allows for quicker recovery time, and is a gentle, safe and accurate method that is performed with an extremely precise laser.

Why is it used?
The procedure can be performed to treat a number of conditions including stress urinary incontinence, vaginal atrophy, muscle relaxation, vaginal dryness (atrophic vaginitis) and infections. By treating these issues, feminine comfort and satisfaction can be improved.

  • Vaginal tightening
Loss of tightness and reduced sensation can drastically reduce sexual satisfaction. The FemiLift procedure works by restoring the tone of the vaginal walls, and in doing so increases sensitivity. During the procedure, thermal heating and ablation techniques are used to stimulate collagen regeneration, and to increase lubrication. For more information on vaginal tightening surgery, see here.
  • Stress urinary incontinence
This condition can be treated with the FemiLift procedure. The condition refers to leakage of urine, and is typically caused by damage to the pelvic muscles. Urine leakage can occur involuntarily during coughing, sneezing and heavy physical activity. The FemiLift procedure stimulates collagen renewal, and also helps to increase the thickness of the vaginal walls. For more information on urinary incontinence laser treatment, see here.
  • Vaginal dryness and infections
The FemiLift procedure can help to treat vaginal dryness and recurring infections, as it works by improving vaginal lubrication. The procedure is also helpful in normalising vaginal pH.
  • Post-delivery rehabilitation
After childbirth, the vagina and surrounding areas may feel stretched and loose, and the pelvic floor is often weakened. The FemiLift procedure works to enhance the tone of the vaginal tissue, and increases its strength and flexibility.
